My name is wnmecomm — a pen name I use online. I plan, research, and write everything published on fourpillars.online.

I am not a professional practitioner. I do not offer paid readings, consultations, or chart analysis of any kind. What I publish here is material I have organised while studying the subject myself.

Why This Site Exists

When you start looking into BaZi in English, you tend to find two kinds of writing. One delivers conclusions with no reasoning — "your wealth luck this year." The other assumes you already know the vocabulary and jumps straight into chart analysis.

What I could not find was the layer in between: material that explains the fundamentals in order. What a Heavenly Stem is. Why the hour of birth matters. What the phrase "Ten Gods" actually designates. So I started assembling it myself.

Because this is a record of ongoing study rather than a finished body of knowledge, I revise earlier articles as my understanding improves. This site is closer to a working notebook made public than to a reference authored by an expert.

How I Write

  • I say when I don't know. Where classical schools disagree, I lay out the reasoning on each side rather than declaring one correct.
  • I don't predict. I never write articles that make definitive claims about anyone's future. The focus stays on how the interpretive system operates.
  • I don't use fear. Framing content to provoke anxiety in order to hold attention is not something I'm willing to do.
  • I don't invent. No fabricated case studies, no unverified statistics, no borrowed anecdotes presented as my own experience.
  • I correct. When I learn something was wrong, I fix it openly and date the revision rather than quietly deleting it.

Something I Want to State Plainly

BaZi is not statistics and it is not empirical science. It is a tradition of interpretation accumulated over centuries, and its predictive validity has never been demonstrated under controlled conditions. This site explains the internal logic of that tradition. It does not assert that the tradition is correct.

I would ask readers not to base significant decisions — about careers, relationships, health, or money — on chart interpretation. Please see the Disclaimer for the full position on this.
